Nice poem. Especially liked the first four lines.

I have always liked to read poems but have never managed to write one.

நுரை ததும்பியோடும்
நதிநீர்க் கடியில்
நிரந்தரமாய் ஆழக் கிடக்கும்
கறுவெண் மணல் போன்றது.//
